May 2010
Take a melody
Simple as can be
Give it some words and
Sweet harmony
Raise your voices
All day long now
Love grows strong now
Sing a melody of love, oh love
12 years ago, my best friend wrote something down on a piece of paper, and told me I couldn’t read it. He said I’d have to wait.
Today, on our 4th anniversary, (we’re dating), he gave me the paper.
It says, “I already know you’re the one. I’ll love you forever, marry me?”
He wrote it when we were 11. His timeless love for me GMH.
I need to get to a gym so badly!!!! But I have internship stuff to do and other little things that keep getting in my way! Curses!!!!!!!!!!
I need to burn some calories, get rid of the fat and get a good sweat going. I know, sounds gross to most, but to me, it’s my rush! Screw drugs, I run on a treadmill to get a high.
TOMORROW, I’M HEADING TO THE GYM!!!! That’s what I need to do! >:(
My Macbook Pro has been gone for the past few days, getting its hard drive replaced. But now it’s back, and I’m so happy. :) Plus, now I don’t have to drive out to Southcenter anymore! It’ll be so much more convenient when they finish building the Mac store in the Tacoma mall.
Now it’s just restoring everything from my old hard drive. Thank God for Time Machine. :)
Maybe I know, somewhere
Deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we’ve got to find other ways
To make it alone
Or keep a straight face
And I’ve always lived like this
Keeping it comfortable, distance
And up until now
I’d sworn to myself that I’m content
With loneliness
Because none of it was ever worth the risk, but
You, are, the only exception
…..
And I’m on my way to believing
” —“The Only Exception” ~ ParamoreI’m just a young girl in this world
A simple speck on the globe
Always hidden behind the door
But still not far away from you
At times I feel happy
At times I feel blue
But above all I just want to
Feel my hair blowing in the wind
Stare straight past the summer sky
Send you a field of flowers
Beyond these walls lies another world
Where butterflies are flying free
It’s all waiting for me
This tiny world around me
It won’t ever change, you see
I don’t hate it, no
I just want to know
So much more about you
Happiness and sadness come hand in hand
But someday I know I can
Feel my hair blowing in the wind
Stare straight past the summer sky
Send you a field of flowers
Beyond these walls lies another world
Where butterflies are flying free
It’s all waiting for you
Underneath the sunshine
Flowers all gathered in a line
I want to pass each day with you
Though these are only dreams
The other world seems so real
I’ll reach that place someday
This summer is looking mighty fine all ready, and it hasn’t even started! Some things that I’m looking forward to:
1) Tutoring: I actually got myself a job. I will be teaching some 7th and 8th graders (and any other kids that need tutoring) in Japanese. This probably won’t take up a lot of time, but it will at least it will get me some spending money.
2) Video Games: quite a few of my favorite video games will be coming out this summer. Whenever I’m stuck inside, I can play those to ease my boredom.
3) New Ghibli Movie: for those of you who are Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli fans, the new movie will be released in Japan this summer. Hopefully, some nice Japanese person will illegal tape the video in the theater and put it up.
4) Lake Chelan: my aunt just rented a house on Lake Chelan for a week. I haven’t been here since I was 10 or 12, so I’m ecstatic about that! :D
5) College Preparation: this process will involve getting new clothes, bedding and whatever other miscellaneous items we need.
And then other little things to fill in the time in between, such as hanging out with friends, going to the beach and mall, selling some old things I don’t need anymore and making vids to put on my Youtube.
This will be a great summer!

30 Day Song Challenge: Day 30
A song I was obsessed with this time last year: “Forever” ~ Chris Brown
Yes, I’m serious. I dunno why, but I heard this song and I just thought it screamed summer. But now, it’s just ear candy, lol.
30 Day Song Challenge: Day 29
A song from my childhood: “You Get What You Give” ~ New Radicals
I remember when I was still attending my old public elementary school, my mom let me and my brother play hooky and she took us to the Puyallup Fair. We played this song all the way there and back. One of the best days ever. :)))
30 Day Song Challenge: Day 28
A song that makes me feel guilty: “All Around Me” ~ Flyleaf
I really don’t have a song that makes me feel guilty. So here’s some Flyleaf instead.

30 Day Song Challenge: Day 27
A song I wish I could play: “Musique pour la Tristesse de Xion” ~ Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Probably one of the most beautiful piano pieces I have on my iTunes. I really want to be able to play this once I get the hang of the piano.
And for those of you who don’t know French, a rough translation of the title is “Music for the Sadness of Xion.”
30 Day Song Challenge: Day 26
A song I can play on an instrument: “Dango Daikazoku” ~ Clannad
I can….sort of play this song on the piano. But it’s so cute and I even wrote lyrics to it.
Random note: if I ever have kids, this will be their lullaby. ;)
30 Day Song Challenge: Day 25
A song that makes me laugh: “That’s Your Horoscope For Today” ~ Weird Al
What’s YOUR horoscope for today???
And, oh, in time you’ll see
Cause out there somewhere
It’s all waiting
If you keep believing” —“Look Through My Eyes” ~ Phil Collins
